Lynn Krause lives in Owatonna, Minnesota, famous for its mineral springs that saved Princess Owatonna’s life with its curing waters.

  1. Tell us a bit about yourself?

    I am the luckiest person. I have a very supportive husband that let me quit my day job to be home and do what I love. I spend my days longarm quilting for various quilters. I have 2 grandsons that I watch daily while their parents are working. Watching them grow into wonderful young men is amazing.

  2. Apart from being ‘creative’ what do you do?

    I have a garden that keeps me busy all summer.

    I also love walking my dog Bear twice a day and taking my zumba classes 5 days a week.

  3. What inspires you to do the kind of work you do?

    Nature inspires me a lot. During my daily walks I love to watch the changing of the seasons.

  4. Do you look up to anyone? Who? Why?

    I look up to all quilters and admire the work they do. I am always striving to make new and different things.

  5. What other passions do you have in your life?

    I love to travel when possible. To see how people from various parts of the world live and see what a beautiful place we live.

  6. What do you like most about Zibbet?

    I love being able to customize my shop. All of its useful features and clean look.

  7. What ‘new’ things would you like to see added to Zibbet?

    One thing I would like is to be able to print my invoices to help track sales. I am bad at entering sales into the computer and the only tracking I now have is printing the email.

  8. How do you promote your work?

    I promote using facebook, twitter and pinterest. I have just started doing some local events to get my name out more in the area.

  9. How would you recommend other Zibbeters make the most of Zibbet.com?

    I would say list. I have found that the more I have available the better my sales are.

  10. In the future I’d like to be…

    In the future I’d like to be able to travel more. Currently with my client workload I have been unable to do what I did prior to doing this full time.

    Hi Lynn,
    What a beautiful family you have and how lucky you are to be right there in the middle of your grandsons’ lives. Your quilting is stunning. Here in Oregon, we just had the Sisters,OR quilt show. People come from all over the country because Bend, OR is so close and is a vacation spot of choice.

    Quilting is a beautiful art form. My grandmother used to quilt by hand, I enjoyed many of her creations while growing up. For me quilts are heirlooms, every family should have one to pass down from generation to generation.
