Ideas for Distributing Your Business Cards
While we’re still thinking about business cards, I’d like to offer a list of ideas for distributing those cards to prospective customers. You should never leave home without having your cards in your pocket or purse because you never know when a casual conversation with a total stranger will provide an opening for you to talk about your business. Keep a few within easy reach in your car also.
Include several cards in each package you send, making it easy for a happy customer to help spread the word about your wonderful Zibbet shop.
Put your card in the yellow pages of public access phone books. Try to find a place there that lists businesses similar to yours.
Place a card in a few relevant books at the library. Be careful to not ‘over do’ this. Make it look like the card was being used as a bookmark by the previous borrower.
Include a card in your bill payment envelopes.
Ask your family and friends to distribute your cards and make sure they always have a supply of cards on hand.
Put them on public bulletin boards.
Leave a card with your tip on the table after dining out.
Leave a card on the mirror in a public restroom.
If you travel, leave a card in your hotel room when you leave.
If you’re a student, give a card to each of your instructors.
Give a card to your taxi driver.
After retrieving your deposit receipt or cash at the bank drive through, drop a card in the drawer or tube for the teller or the next bank customer to find.
Pay the toll for the driver in line behind you and leave your card for the attendant to give her when she stops to pay.
What great ideas can you add to the list?
Best wishes for much success on Zibbet!
