Fantastic Five: Steampunk

What is steampunk? No, it’s not a rotten locomotive but has been classified as a literary genre with elements of fiction, fantasy, history and horror.

During the 1980s it began to evolve into gadgets, games and a design aesthetic in clothing and jewelry. In the Victorian age and now, steampunk style features technological innovations. The future perspective is seen in fashion, culture, art and even architectural style.

    This is another great article and great pieces shown.
    I really never knew what steampunk was until I started pinning things for my board.
    There are some amazing artists in this genre and I have fallen in love with some of the items I see. :-)
