Promoting your products comes with the territory. I believe that the popular line from the movie Field of Dreams, “If you build it, he (they) will come” only applies to baseball diamonds built in the middle of cornfields! When it comes to selling, after you build it you have to promote it. Finding what works requires a lot of trial and error testing which also takes a lot of time. I believe that establishing a local following is an important component of successfully competing online! I have two jewelry shops. The handcrafted jewelry market is virtually saturated with wonderful creations. I’ve observed that when people see my jewelry “in person” they will buy it. Last week, we took a fun look back at all of the fantastic changes and growth that Zibbet experienced in 2010. Now that we’re several days into 2011, I thought we should take a few minutes to think about setting some attainable goals for the next twelve months. I recently celebrated the one year anniversary of my LOC Design Studio shop on Zibbet. I can truly say from first hand experience that 2010 was a very good year for Zibbet and Zibbet’s sellers!
