The monster storm in the northeast has dumped 3 feet of snow as of this writing. Many of us who grew up in the Northeast United States get a warm nostalgic longing to be there when a blizzard hits. Although the south is warm, memories of snow piled sky high along the roads, building snow forts and igloos, snowmen and sleigh riding tug at the heart.
