For as long as I can remember, birds have been a popular icon in art of all types and styles. In fact, I recall one of professors in college (a printmaker) insisted on having a bird in EVERY single piece of artwork she created.

December is just days away, and it won’t be long before winter is on its way as well. Soon, the ground will be covered in snow with the colors of a winter wonderland: the beautiful whites of freshly fallen snow and the gorgeous ice blues of frozen over lakes and streams.

The fall/autumn season is definitely the best time of year, in my opinion, to get back to nature and go for a few long hikes on a nature trail. Don’t you think?

The summer season is all about getting out into the great outdoors and letting loose… a picnic in the park, a family trip to the beach, camping in the woods, and roasting hot dogs on the grill. All are summer time favorites.

That’s right. I love to eat. I am not terribly good at cooking. In fact, I am terribly bad at it. BUT, I am good at eating delicious food. And I LOVE the art of food photography.
