The main reason for listing items is to sell them. It goes without saying that if an item isn’t listed it can’t be sold from your Zibbet shop. So why am I stating the obvious? More than once I’ve heard a seller say that when sales increase on Zibbet they will list more. One of the best things we all can do to help increase sales is to list more now rather than later! The fact is, by listing more individually, we help each other sell more collectively. (more…)

Last week I shared some basic information about what widgets are and how you can use them to enhance the functionality of your Zibbet shop. What is a “widget” anyway? According to Wikipedia, a web widget is “a portable chunk of code that can be installed and executed within any separate HTML-based web page by an end user without requiring additional compilation.”

An RSS feed allows dynamic data from one website to automatically be transferred, or fed, to another site. RSS feeds are often used to send blog updates to various destinations, including e-mail accounts. Last week’s Success on Zibbet article provided you with step-by-step instructions for configuring an RSS feed between your Zibbet shop and your Facebook account using RSS Graffiti. Now that we have this thing called an RSS feed on Zibbet, many of you may be wondering, “What exactly is an RSS feed and what do I do with it?” RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It’s programming that allows dynamic data from one site to be “fed” to another.
