A simple way to show off your undying love, and appreciation for Japanese culture, during the winter holiday season, this wooden oval ornament would look lovely on any tree.

The Kanji (Japanese) symbol for "love", and its English translation, has been burned by hand onto a wooden oval 4.5" tall by 3" across, approximately 1/8" thick. Artist logo, name and year appear on back, as shown.

The whole piece is then sealed with a clear acrylic sealant for lasting beauty and ease of care. It hangs from approximately 7" of red raffia ribbon strung through the hand-drilled hole at the top, and tied with a large bow.

This ornament would be a great finishing touch on any country-chic decor, or it can serve as a unique heirloom for your beloved family members.
