About your Hand-Dyed Garment

All garments are made of 100% cotton or other natural cellulose fibers (cotton, hemp, bamboo, modal, rayon, etc) and are constructed entirely with cotton thread (unless otherwise noted) - which means no unsightly white top stitching or seams.

I use Procion MX, a fiber-reactive dye. Fiber reactive dye is the most permanent of all dye types. Unlike other dyes, it actually forms a covalent bond with the cellulose molecule. Once the bond is formed, what you have is one molecule, as the dye molecule has become an actual part of the fiber molecule.

That means it won't fade or wash out and the hand (the feel of the fabric) stays soft. Each garment has been washed in hot water at least three or four times before you get it, so it won't shrink.

Caring for your Hand-Dyed Garment

Simply wash and dry, no special care is necessary. If your garment is embellished with beads, wash it inside out (but I'll send you extra beads, just in case!)

Buying as a Gift?

If you're purchasing an item as a gift, please contact me with the recipient's shipping address. Gift wrap is provided at no extra charge, and I'll include a personal note from you in the package.

Shipping Information

Domestic orders are shipped USPS First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation or USPS Priority Mail. International orders are shipped using USPS First Class International Mail and may take from 2-4 weeks to arrive.

I ship most orders without insurance to keep costs down. If you want to insure your shipment, please contact me before you pay.

Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

Awesome experience guaranteed! If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact me within 14 days of receiving it. I will accept a return of the item in its original condition. You will need to pay the return shipping expenses. Please contact me first before returning any items. Once I have received and inspected the item, I will refund the full purchase amount, less shipping fees.

Extra Information

All garments come with a signed tag printed on recycled paper and attached with hemp twine, and are packaged with love and care. Please recycle.
