‘Other World Eggs’
I paint a unique type of egg design I have dubbed ‘Other World Eggs’. They are designed to appear as if you, the viewer, have broken the egg in order to see the scene hidden inside. They are mini works of art painted with a thin, tiny brush and coated with 5 layers of non-yellowing high gloss varnish.

This egg is a Fisherman's Dream enjoying a fantastic sunset on a bass filled lake. Two fishermen are fishing from a small boat while another sits on a pier. The lake is nestled in a deep, thick forest. The egg sits on a polymer clay yellow, black, and white base- representing the ripples in the water when a fish strikes!

The chicken eggs are ‘blown’ meaning the yolk and white has been removed and the egg cleaned. The ‘blow’ holes are filled and hidden from view with elegant silver filigree caps. Each egg has an attached, individually hand crafted, polymer clay stand. How durable are they? Well, I have two that I created in 1996 and they look just as good today as they did when I first made them. I wouldn’t recommend dropping them- but they can survive a tumble on carpet or rugs.
Each egg will come not only in a handmade fabric drawstring pouch, but also in a lovely box.
YES! I will paint special request eggs- please allow an extra week for delivery. I also have a limited number of DUCK eggs that I can paint- they average 3 ½ to 4 inches tall ON the BASE.
