I am a retired family counselor and I discovered glass fusing 8 years ago and have found a new love. I cut sheets of glass into small sizes and shaped, layer them on a background glass, fire the piece to 1500 degrees, smooth and shape it with a grinder and fire it again. I use dichroic glass and art glass in my creations and sometimes fire decals right into the glass. This process is very time consuming, but the result is stunning. And you have a beautiful piece of wearable art.
