It weighs approximately 5 oz., as they are hand cut they vary but none weigh less than 5 oz. The approximate measurements of this bar are 3 1/2" wide, 2 1/2" Tall and 1 1/8" Deep, very large soap bar! This soap is made by the cold process method in small batches for a superior finished product.

Ingredients:Vegetable Oil, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Shea and Mango Butter, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Lactate, Glycerin, Fragrance Oil and Natural colorants.

This is a list of Oils and Butters and what they will do for your skin and what they do for my soaps that contain them.

Coconut Oil-It is essential to soap making, it is a natural cleanser and moisturizer. It makes a hard, cleansing bar with creamy, bubbly lather.

Vegetable Oil-This ingredient makes a hard bar with stable lather. It is made up of either Hydrogenated Cottonseed oil or hydrogenated Soybean Oil, it has Palm Oil as a binding agent.

Olive Oil Pomace-This is the best Olive oil for soap making, it has moisturizing, disinfectant and anti-wrinkle properties and can be used to produce a mild soap.

Shea Butter-This butter is a great emollient oil addition to soap, it makes a hard, shiny, conditioning bar with a stable lather and moisturizing properties. It has a rich concentration of Vitamin A and E, phytosterols, triterpenes, fatty esters and phenolic acids: it moisturizes and retains elasticity of the skin, fights skin allergies and helps cellular regeneration. Shea Butter also protects skin from the sun.

Canola Oil-This oil has high concentrations of linoleic and oleic acids and Vitamin E, it works better on all skin types and moisturizes the skin. It forms a hard soap bar with stable lather.

Castor Oil-This oil is highly therapeutic, it is used in medicinal preparations since ancient times, as treatment for gastrointestinal problems. In soap it acts as an emollient, humectant and softener, adds and retains moisture and protects the skin. It is also used to treat dry lacerated and chapped skin, including psoriasis. It makes a soft, conditioning bar with bubbly, stable lather.

Mango Butter-Mango Butter is an emollient with healing and regenerative properties and is a good source of essential fatty acids. It is commonly used as the base for body care formulas, skin care products and soap.
This soap contains Coconut Oil, Vegetable Oil, Olive Oil, Canola Oil and Castor Oil, Shea & Mango Butter. This should give you an idea of what you can expect when you purchase a quality homemade soap bar from Grandma's Home Brewed Soap.
