"Paddleboats at Echuca" by Heather Holland is an original artist quality watercolour painting on Arches 300gsm.
It is currently framed but due to postage costs I am offering it here as an UNFRAMED item measuring 34cm x 24cm.
This is a painting which I did from a photograph I took at the town of Echuca which is in Australia on the River Murray. It is an historic tourist town with a number of restored paddlesteamers / paddleboats (whichever you prefer). Some restored haulage barges are in the painting as well. Echuca is a great place to visit and the old boats are very interesting to look at and ride in. If you think the water is a strange colour that is because a lot of Australian rivers are brown rather the clear or blue, due to low rainfall and slow movement of water.
