As of August 24th, 2009:All purchases of my oil paintings now include a painter's colophon, designed and printed expressly for each work, describing the location, background information, my thought processes, materials, etc. They can serve as a paste-down label on the back of paintings which are on canvas panels or wood. I will add photos of them to their respective paintings as I make them. Their designs and the papers used to print them will vary as I see fit. My goal is to bring closer together my interests in oil painting and typographic design.
100% of all sales will directly fund my tuition costs for attending Studio Escalier monthly programs in Paris and in Argenton-Chateau, France, where most of these works were painted.
