HOW IT'S MADE - I hand sculpt all my original clay sculptures using no molds of any kind. Using traditional hand-building techniques like pinch pot and slab, I form, cut, roll, sculpt, carve and paddle my ceramic creations until they speak to me. Then they are kiln fired twice to over 2000 degrees. Each piece is made with love and and is truly one of a kind.
I made my living as a professional artist for many years before going back to college to complete my degree. I work in the regimented professional world now, but insist I find time every day to do something creative.
I live and work on the Florida gulf coast, with palm trees and beautiful beaches in my backyard. Not bad inspiration, is it?
