My name is Maggie Knight and I started cross stitching over 20 years ago! I've been doing it on and off since then. Mostly just stitching for fun, selling items locally and making custom projects for friends and family. This past year I decided to give it a go online - I opened up my Etsy shop in October 2009 and my Zibbet, Shophandmade and Artfire shops in 2010. It's been a lot of fun and I hope 2010 is as kind to me as the last few months of 2009 were! I think I've finally found my calling with cross stitching as a business. Not many people can work making a living doing what they love to do. I feel very lucky!

I love to design patterns that are things I'd look for myself, colorful designs that are unique and fun to stitch. I also enjoy creating custom cross stitch patterns for customers. Here at Zibbet I list my original patterns so you can stitch yourself silly making fun things for yourself and others! I also have lots of Ready To Ship items and Made To Order listings, too - check it out! I love custom orders. I sell my patterns on Artfire and Shophandmade under the same name. I live in South Carolina and I am a work-at-home mom to my two beautiful daughters, Chloë (10) and Adelaide (2). Chloë has recently gotten into cross stitching herself and I am very proud of her! You can one of her WIP photos below. She has her own Etsy shop, which is linked on my shop's front page. I am married to a tall guy named Sean, a former graphic designer who's now in the printing industry. We live in a brick house in the middle of the state and we all love to eat tamales. It's really hot here, so we're a sweaty bunch. I love my family because they're as crazy as I am. It's sometimes scary to live in a house with little kids and this many needles, but somehow we manage!
