Description

Most ghosts can't be seen in a mirror, people say... But this one can.

I caught a glimpse of this little spirit in a mirror on the wall in a painting of a famous artist's sleeping place — which may be why it's wearing a sheet, instead of walking around in only ectoplasm.

If you fix your mind on the use of eyes and ears and contemplate the clues in the blurb (there are several there) you will probably remember where you've seen this mirror before.

In case you don't feel like doing much detective work, a note with the name of the artist and the title of the painting that I found the ghost in, will be included with each print.

This picture is part of my Ghosts in Paintings series. The prints are from small parts I selected digitally from older art works that are now in the public domain, then slightly altered to make the atmosphere a little ghostlier.

The size of the mat is 5x7 inches and the part of the print that shows through the aperture is a little less than 4x6. The mat is black with white core, and the backing board is maroon.

The print is attached inside the mat with sticky tape and isn't really meant to be removed. You can frame the matted print if you want, or leave it in its clear-bag for protection and a little extra ghostly glow.

Materials

Canon Chromalife-100 ink; 110-lb. smooth finish index stock, tape, black white-core mat, protective poly clear-bag
