Description

This smiling, winking face is way up high on the trunk of a giant spruce tree, not too far away from my little house. I was wandering around out there, and looked up toward the bright blue frosty-morning sky, and there it was. I had to climb the steep slope it faces, and lean around between some other tree trunks and brambly underbrush, but finally got the picture.

I use a thumbnail of this photo as my "avatar" in my little shops, but it isn't really me. I'm not that tall.

All my life, I've been intrigued by finding faces and shapes of animals or beings in unexpected places, nature, and inanimate objects. The lovely wild outdoor world is full of these, so when I see them — if I'm lucky enough to have a camera — I try to take their pictures and, if the face or character I see comes through in the picture visibly, I make these little prints, so you can see them too.

This is a 4x6-inch ink-jet print in a 5x7-inch black white-core mat with maroon-colored backing board. It will be safely slipped inside a clear-bag, placed in a protective envelope, and shipped to you by First Class mail.
