I’m an earth kindda gal...love nature. Give me a week in a spa or a week in the woods I’ll take the woods every time. I live in Minnesota and love the North Shore of Lake Superior. That’s how I picked my name. Naturally I’d rather be up north. My banner and avatar is a picture of my dad fishing in the early 1940's.

Handmade Soap
If you have never tried handmade soaps, you are missing one of the greatest luxuries in life. My handmade soaps are gentle and richly lathered. They clean without drying, leaving even sensitive and allergy-prone skin feeling wonderfully moisturized soft and smooth.

My quality handmade soaps are rich, soothing, and loaded with naturally occurring glycerin, which attracts and holds moisture to the skin. All my soaps are made by hand in small batches using the finest ingredients to insure that you get the very best and freshest product available every time. I use only edible grade oils, botanical herbs & spices, fine essential oils, high quality fragrance oils, natural and FD&C colorants approved for use in soaps & cosmetics. If your skin is extremely dry or sensitive, try some of my quality handmade soap and you will discover your skin is revitalized.

All my soaps are 100% vegetable, unless I add specifically mentioned items. All ingredients will be listed so you will know what you are getting when you place an order. My soaps are preservative free, never tested on animals and have a ph value of 7-8.

The longer soap is air dried, the longer it will last. I allow 3-4 weeks minimum curing time before offering my soaps for sale. The long, slow cure of Cold Process soap lends itself to a finer grain soap, one that is milder, harder, and longer lasting. For sanitary purposes we ship our soap wrapped. When your soap arrives please take the plastic wrapping off, and expose it to the air. Also, never leave soap left in the path of the shower stream, or sitting in a wet soap dish. Be sure to use a soap dish that allows for good drainage.

Please note that due to the handmade nature of my soaps, swirl designs & colors may vary slightly from batch to batch, and that no two bars of soap will be cut identically. Each bar comes labeled with the ingredients listed.
