WHAT IS NUNO FELT?
You can't go greener than wearing felt and nuno felt, which is fibers felted on fabric so that the 2 become one! Making felt is done with just soap and water which means they're organic and handwashable. You get a color pallette that can't be described until you see and wear one of my designs; because each scarf shrinks 40% from start to finish, all the colors get deeper and more saturated in the final design. These layers of color means that you can wear one Nuno Scarf with several other colors (from dark to light) and it will CHANGE its look! You really have to see it to believe it. What I love best about nuno felting is that: (1) it's organic and I don't have to use any chemicals or dangerous processes when I make it, and (2) it's handwashable! even my CASHMERE NUNOS! (3) because felting shrinks so much, every single design is UNIQUE - they cannot be repeated, even if I tried!
