These are the Original Naughty Bits earrings, made by recycling passages of romance novels or other interesting books. These are decoupaged onto a lightweight wood base, then clear coated in multiple layers, and finished with tiny bails and Sterling Silver ear hooks.

No two items are the same, not even the earrings in each pair match but I have tried to make them go together. No photocopies are used, only the pages of second-hand books, whose covers are recycled for another creative use.

This item is a wonderful conversation starter, should someone actually notice what they say. In this fast-paced world we live in, people generally don't take time to read everything they see, but the look on their face when they finally do is priceless!
In the meantime, enjoy your dirty little secret.

PLEASE NOTE: While I have taken great pains to make certain every surface has received a good coating of glaze, it does not make them waterproof. Please remove them before swimming, bathing, or dancing in the rain.
