Profile for origraphix
I am a self-taught graphic designer who began her adventure into Photoshop and PaintShop Pro at a meager age of twelve. At that time, the internet was full of "personal sites" meant to showcase art, design, music, and most of all, graphic design skills. Although functional, the real focus was on creating a truly personal space on the web. Although the internet has shifted since then, I still have a firm belief in creating inclusive digital spaces that not only efficiently display work, but that captures character and style.
Aside from running this shop on Zibbet catered to handmade shop graphics, I do a great deal of freelance work. In fact, you will probably notice a few graphics made by me around the site! (My work has been featured primarily in the Adroll Banner Creator, the Gift Guide banner, and various banner ads around the site for special holiday occasions).
Although I am confident that I can create graphics in any style to suite your taste, I believe in creative graphics that distinguish your brand with clean lines and bright colors that really pop! If you are interested in my work, I encourage you to contact me and I can send you some samples!
Aside from graphic & web design, I really enjoy folding origami (found here: http://www.zibbet.com/umeorigami) and being a graduate student in Art History where I get to flex my intellectual muscles. I am deeply inspired by Japanese textures and modulated lines, and I am excited to share my work with you!
