I've wanted to make a living with my hands since I was a little girl. This is my passion, and I appreciate you looking.

I also want to ensure that you and I both have a pleasant experience, so I've written up this list of policies that detail what you can expect after your order is placed.

Please be sure that you've read over and agreed to everything - and asked ALL questions you may have - before making your purchase. This is your responsibility and no refunds or replacements will be issued to anyone who contacts me after the transaction to complain about something that these policies warn of, specifically the shipping and Customs delays from Canada.

Shipping Information

. l o c a t i o n s .
I am no longer offering shipment outside of North America without a special request. Every time I do, the package takes a month or more to arrive and I am forced to deal with angry emails from customers demanding to know where their purchase is. Several times I have even sent a replacement package out of pocket only to have the original package arrive days later. This may not be a permanent policy, and you can contact me to make an exception as long as you've agreed to these policies, but for now "Everywhere Else" has been removed from my shipping options.

I am no longer sending replacements for packages delayed by the mail service. I have lost so much money and time re-making and re-sending packages as a courtesy to my customers and it's infuriating, especially when - as previously mentioned - the original package arrives shortly after the second is shipped. I don't get compensated for this, so I've put an end to it.

. r e c e i p t s .
When I ship from the post office, I am given a carbon copy of the Customs form I've filled out with your information which is stamped on the back by the postal employee with the day's date. This serves as my receipt and proof of shipment, and if you request, I can scan this form for you as proof that your package has been sent. Unfortunately, Canada Post only offers tracking on expedited shipments (which is significantly more expensive) so this receipt will be your only documentation.

Please note that tracking is NOT included in your purchase. Canada Post does not provide tracking for Small Packet shipments, which is the method I most often use to keep your shipping costs low. You will always have the option to have tracking added to your purchase, but keep in mind that you will have to pay much more for a shipping method that allows for tracking. If you are interested in upgrading your shipping because of an upcoming deadline or any other reason, please contact me first so that I can research your cost and create a custom listing for you.

I can offer no guarantees about delivery time because of the endless variables involved with snail mail, so if you need something to arrive by a certain date, I recommend that you order it a month in advance to be sure, or upgrade your shipping method. Shipping is via Canada Post from London, Ontario, which means that (for most of you) your purchase is coming from a different country. This also means potential Customs delays, and I reiterate that I have no control whatsoever over shipments once they leave my hands. Sometimes they take a few days, sometimes they take several weeks. Every so often, they never show up at all. Tracking - as previously mentioned - is optional, and I would suggest it to anyone who has had issues in the past with missing or delayed shipments. Certain times of year especially are notorious for holiday shipping and Customs delays, and I cannot refund or replace your purchase for something that is not my fault.

At this time I can only send shipments out 2 to 3 times per week. Since most items are made to order when you purchase the listing and may take as long as a week to produce, this means that your item should take no longer than 10 days from the date of purchase to be sent out. I try (but don't always remember) to email you on the day your package is mailed so that you have a reasonable expectation of when it will arrive, but - as previously mentioned - you should order a month in advance if you have a delivery deadline.

Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

Due to the nature of handcrafting there are small differences between each item that make the one you purchase unique. Therefore you may be buying an item slightly different from the one pictured, and I'll always state this in the description if that's the case. There are also colour variations depending on the lighting in the photo or your monitor settings, so bear this in mind. If the item you receive is *significantly* different from the one pictured - this means that you ordered a tree stamp and received a car stamp, not that you ordered a tree stamp and some of the branches are more curved than in the original picture - then please convo me and we'll discuss an refund or exchange. Keep in mind however that this will require you to return the unwanted item to me (I will pay for the shipping).

Please know that I will not refund or replace an item lost or damaged in the mail. Insurance and tracking are both optional so please feel free to request that they be added to your purchase. See my shipping policies for more information.

. c a r e .
I work a lot with polymer clay and the formula I use is very flexible and durable, but this does not mean it's rugged. The same applies to all hand-carved stamps. Anything made by hand should be treated gently, and if the item you're buying comes with handling instructions I will include them in the description. Remember nothing I sell is really a toy and I cannot be held responsible for damages due to rough play or misuse. I love these creations, and I want you to also. Treat them with care and they will last a long long time.

Extra Information

Since I've moved to Canada I can now only accept PayPal, however all payments should still be in US funds. Please send payment within 48 hours or convo me to explain any delays.

. d e p o s i t s .
All custom and commissioned work totalling $20 or more will require a 50% deposit once a design is agreed upon, before work begins. This will take the form of an etsy listing for the 50%, followed by a second etsy listing for the remaining balance once the work is done and pictures are taken.

. d e s c r i p t i o n s .
Each item is described in its listing as thoroughly as possible, and there will always be detailed photographs to accompany it. Please be sure that you read not just this policy section, but also the listing details to be fully informed about the size, colour and quantity before you make your purchase. I have feedback comments that say things like "It's smaller than I thought" when the exact size is stated in the description, and that's just plain silly.

All designs, including custom work, will remain my intellectual property. I have no problem with you using my stamps or other items to create and sell your own original work, but a link to my etsy shop would be appreciated.
