Welcome to Risky Beads, the second humble home of accessories with issues. My first shop opened on Etsy in August of 2007.

I bead to free my mind; I find when I concentrate on making jewelry, my writer's block clears up and/or I'll suddenly remember where I put something I've been looking for for two months. :-)

I typically list several times a week, so if you don't see something you like, keep checking back. My style morphs constantly; all of my muses come and go as they please; they use my body as a Motel 6 basically.

** Nursing Necklaces:
One of my most popular product lines is Nursing Necklaces. For those who aren't familiar with the concept, a nursing necklace is a donut-style pendant worn by nursing mothers to keep babies focused while they nurse. Babies wrap their little fingers around the stone and hold on while they feed. It anchors them and helps them settle in. It can also be used for bottle fed babies who aren't old enough to hold their own bottle yet. You can find Nursing Necklaces in the Necklace/Pendant section in my shop; just look for any stone with a hole in it!

**The Nurse Purse:
The Nurse Purse is a product I invented in August 2008. It's an inexpensive, stylish, and convenient way to be sure that you always have a nursing necklace with you. Just stash the small drawstring purse in your diaper bag or purse, and then don't worry about it again. When it's time to nurse, you're good to go! The pendant is long enough to slip over your head, and the length can be adjusted by sliding the knots.

Both The Nurse Purse and my nursing necklaces make a very pretty and very thoughtful baby shower or Mother's Day gift because they can be worn anywhere; no one will know it's a nursing necklace, and once the baby weans, the mother has a fond memento of those times with her newborn that she can keep and wear forever.

** Risky KIDS!:
Risky KIDS was launched in the fall of 2008 and features unique pendants, bracelets, and zipper pulls for children.

**Everything Else:
You'll also find tons of earrings, bookmarks, beer can and other unique zipper pulls, and keychains in my shop.

Finally, I'll gladly take requests if you see something you like and would prefer it with a different accent color or a different length, etc. Just convo me. :-) Custom orders require payment upfront.

Shipping Information

I SHIP WORLDWIDE and usually within 48 hours of receiving a cleared payment; if I can't ship in that time frame for any reason, I'll notify you. For custom orders, I'll contact you individually.

I ship First Class mail domestically and internationally, but may upgrade a domestic order to Priority shipping if the size of the order makes it more logical to do so. In order for your purchase to be protected through Pay Pal, your email/account must be verified. Best way to avoid that problem is to be sure your Zibbet and Pay Pal addresses match.

So, please VERIFY your address for me if your Paypal and Zibbet addresses don't match up.

For DOMESTIC orders, I ship out of Pay Pal, so your package will have a tracking #; for INTERNATIONAL orders, there won't be a tracking # unless you wish to pay to upgrade to Priority Shipping. I will do everything I can to help you resolve any issue you have, but once I ship your package, I cannot be responsible for the U.S. or international mail. I wish I had more control, believe me.

Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

All sales are final after 7 days of receipt of package, but if you're not happy with your purchase, please let me know ASAP so I can fix it! I accept PayPal and RME, but will take a money order if necessary. Please contact me to discuss.
