Welcome

I am a Canadian artisan who enjoys dabbling in many creative media, and I have an intense love for nature and fantasy. Most of my works feature mythical creatures and are very cheerful and pretty.

My favourite medium right now is polymer clay, which is what I use to decorate hardcover books with a sculpted relief image, which I shape by hand. Each sculpted image or texture is painted with hand-mixed acrylics and well-sealed with tough gloss sealant. I tend to make things that are colourful, rich and luxurious as gemstones, and use glass accents whenever possible.

I also enjoy making shrink plastic jewelry that I draw myself onto the plastic, mostly focusing on fantasy creatures such as dragons and other winged critters.

My newest dabbling is with crocheting warm, fuzzy animals and plants with yarn. I make up the pattern for them as I go along, and carefully pick the best yarns for the job.

My listed shipping estimates are for the most economical shipping means as offered by Canada Post, if you are interested in a faster shipping method, please contact me before you purchase the item so I can adjust the shipping price.

All books and boxes will be packaged in bubblewrap inside well-secured boxes to maximize their protection. All other items are sent in appropriate-size well-secured envelopes and boxes, depending on their dimensions. All plushies travel in boxes to prevent being distorted through crushing or postal mishap, etc.

At present, all items are non-refundable.

Extra Information

I am ALWAYS available for custom orders - with the sculpted covers, you can choose the type of book you want used OR you can send me a book you want modified. Custom plushy dragons or squid are welcome, other animals are possible - just ask! I welcome a challenge of doing an animal I haven't tried yet ;) All plushie customs can be any colour, dragons you get two colour choices - main colour and accent colour.
