Art Jewelry Designer

I've always been a creative person and have participated in various forms of art from drawing to dance throughout my life. My love for making jewelry began about 9 years ago when I decided to make a belly chain. My first piece was a belly chain/lariat that could be worn as a necklace and that I still own and wear to this day. Sometime later I decided to add metalsmithing to my list of abilities and after taking a course in Art Jewelry at the Maryland Institute and College of the Arts began making textiled and forged pieces.

The Gilded Goddess was launched when I decided to combine my business skills with my need for creativity. Gilded Goddess reflects my love for natural elements, wire and metal work, and beautiful one-of-a-kind jewelry.

I am inspired by what I call the "imperfections" of nature and the dramatics of fashion; therefore, it would only be fair to say that I lean towards pieces that are dramatic and make use of unusual materials, shapes and textures. And like most women, I feel special when I'm wearing a nice piece of jewelry that reflects who I am.

My goal is to offer my clients beautiful, quality jewelry that they will enjoy buying for themselves and others. This with great service is what the "Goddess" strives to provide.
