We are the Whimsy Trove! We have been in business online under this name since 2008. Our collective consists of several independent artists, we are not a factory, we each have our own ideas and just happen to know each other and like to do business together rather than separately. We rarely collaborate on a single project, though it has been known to happen. I'm Lili, I make dolls and jewelry, and I also take the photographs and write the listings.

Shipping Information

I ship to the address on your Paypal account, no exceptions, so please be sure this is the address you want me to ship to! Paypal does allow you to add other addresses to your account and to select one of them as your shipping destination. Please do so before purchasing so as to avoid any confusion or items ending up in places you do not want them.

At this time we use USPS, we usually ship first class parcel, and we do use delivery confirmation. If you need an upgrade, a package overnighted (and be aware that "overnight" should be read as 1-3 days, as a rule), insurance of some sort, contact us and let us know.

If you are in a country other than the United States, please be aware of the following: You are responsible for any customs fees your country may charge, I will absolutely NOT mark a package "gift" to assist in getting around customs fees, and at any point in time shipping, particularly overseas or to Mexico, can be effected by issues well outside our control.

We recycle and handmake our packaging. If there is bubble pack in a package from us, be assured, it is not new, and has probably been used two or three times before leaving us. We do not include superfluous printed invoices-- we do put pertinent info in packages for security, but don't look for full sheets of paper. We like trees.

Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

Because we make one of a kind items, we do not generally accept returns. If an item is damaged in transit, please contact us immediately and we will see what we can do about repairing or replacing the merchandise, or making an exception to our no-returns rule. (Please note: "immediately" means upon receiving our goods and discovering it is damaged, not several days later. We are only taking the time to define this word because our usage may differ from yours.)

Extra Information

Our studios are tobacco free. We do have pets, but they aren't generally in our studios. We do burn incense, unapologetically.

We are open to certain kinds of custom work, particularly if you want a special gris-gris bag or amulet/talisman.

Our customer service is managed by Gianni, who is a terrier/muppet mix.
