An old great blue heron still seeing himself as a young bird in a mirror
Carved from a found board that came from a river in Maine. (the second photo)
The eyes of both birds are the only two knots in the board, originally 5' long.
Carved then pyro'd. A free standing piece, with a custom made bracket to pivot the two pieces.
