Welcome to my shop!! Creativity has always been as essential as breathing to me! Making handmade creations for my own use, for my family and friends, and now for all of you, as well as supporting other artisans and small businesses.... this is what keeps me going.

Jewelry making, making yummy spa treats, sewing, candle making, soap making, scrapbooking, cross stitching, embroidery, paper crafts, watercolors, acrylic painting…. I love all of them, and dip into each at different times.

My desire for more natural products for my family and myself, is what led me down the path of creating bath and body items. What we put on our skin, to me, is as important as what we eat or drink, and the harsh chemicals in commercial products are so readily absorbed by our skin! But finding commercial products without chemicals is such a challenge, and for good reason - they want to make stuff that lasts for ever, and that can be made as cheaply as possible so that they can make the most money out of it! Quality, handmade bath and body products, made from pure, natural ingredients.... this is what I wanted, and this is what I started to make for our family. Eventually, this expanded into this Etsy shop.

Another priority for me, is to support local businesses to the extent I can. This is better for our local economy, as well as better for our environment. Most of my shopping dollars go to small local businesses. With this shop, I can also achieve that goal, by buying my honey from a Mom and Pop farm just a few miles from the city, and my butters and oils from a small local company. I am constantly on the lookout for more local suppliers.
