BENTONITE CLAY Shaving Soap one ounce travel/camping/gift/socking stuffer/trial size Organic Cold Process Soap - Unscented.

by covingtoncreekcandlecompany

This listing is for a one ounce Bentonite Clay soap. Bentonite Clay provides a great slip making this a wonderful shaving soap. When mixed with water, bentonite clay swells up to 10 times it's dry size while simultaneously creating an electrical charge. This charge attracts toxins to it’s outer walls and are absorbed into the interior of the clay structure and bound letting your skin feel silky smooth and feeling great. You are encouraged to research the ingredients and decide if the product is right for you as we are prohibited by Etsy.com from posting statements referencing any health benefits of ingredients may or may not have.

Ingredients:

-Bentonite clay when applied to the skin with water constricts the skin. The constriction virtually pushes the impurities out of the skin. Botanical.com indicates that once the clay swells, it becomes a porous sponge.
-Organic Olive Oil - loaded with vitamin E
-Organic Palm Oil
-Organic Coconut oil
-Avocado Oil is rich in Vitamin A, B1, B2, D, and E as well as amino acids, sterols, pantothenic acid, lecithin, and other essential fatty acids.
-Rose Hip Seed Oil
-Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil - loaded with vitamins A and E
-Distilled Water (as close to organic as we can get!)
-Sodium Hydroxide (binds the oils and water together) is an all-natural product made from wood ash and contains no manmade chemicals. Combined with salt it will create a natural chemical reaction with the oils to form a hard surface hence you get soap. With time the distilled water will evaporate (or curing as it is called in the soap makers world) and the lye and oils will evolve into a wonderful, dense and gentle bar of soap. This is why it takes at least four weeks for full size bars and two weeks for the one ounce of cold process soap to cure but definitely worth the wait.

All of our soaps are handcrafted from scratch and follow the tried and true old-fashioned cold process method. Why a cold process soap? Cold process helps better preserve the benefits of the oils used in our soap as the oils are only heated up to a low temperature. They are cured for a minimum of 4 weeks. A heat-processed soap may be faster but the temperature used to process the soap will start breaking down the benefits of the oils and create a more porous bar of soap that will dissolves faster.. Why spend good money on soap that dissolves faster and does not have the full benefits of the oils that it could have?

If you would like to reserve bars of soap as gifts for the up coming holiday season let me know. I can post a reserve for you now with 1/2 price of the sale due at that time and the remainder when you are ready for them. I can even ship it to the receiver if they are located within the lower 48 states for the additional cost of the shipping. A personalized note can be included at no additional cost.
