Vintage Valentine Card Art Deco Carrington 1930s Girl Boy Tree

by SandyCreekCollectables

Vintage Valentine Greeting card. Shows a little girl sitting in a heart shaped Cherry Tree. A little boy is standing below, handing her a bouquet of flowers. Boy is holding a hoop.

Card folds down at center sides to make it a stand up card. When folded, only the girl in the tree is exposed at the top. Measures 2.75" x 4". Published by the Carrington Co. Dates to circa 1930s.

Back side has a verse that reads, "I love you more than quite a bit, But lacking grit to speak of it, Send you this little Valentine, Whose every line says, Do be mine!"

Condition is good with pencil writing on back and horizontal crease near center of left edge that folds down. Also some light soiling to back.

Great for craft projects, altered art, scrapbooking and collages. Please check out more of my vintage Valentine cards at: http://www.zibbet.com/SandyCreekCollectables/section/vintage-valentine-cards
