Wolf Pendant, Cherokee Language, Cedar Pendant Necklace, Handcrafted Jewelry, Native Style, Tsalagi Necklace, Seed Bead Necklace
This 23" seed bead and red coral, native style necklace features a 46mm hand cut cedar pendant handcrafted with the image of a singing wolf. The Cherokee word tohi, the word for peace and balance, is pyrographed in Cherokee language (syllabary) on the cedar pendant. Finely detailed with pyrography and oils pencils, this cedar pendant is sealed with several layers of satin sealant to protect the carving. The handcrafted wire wrapped bail is created with silverplated copper wire. Black and turquoise seed beads speak to the night sky and peace within. The red coral tube beads beautifully represent the passion and spirit of the wolf. Closing with a silverplated lobster clasp, this pendant necklace is suitable for men or women.
Cedar, according to Cherokee mythos, is a healing wood and this pendant---and others like it---are handcrafted to bring inspiration and comfort to those on their journey!
