Lake Michigan Portrait: Frozen Kenosha Lighthouse
I captured this portrait on the Lake Michigan shoreline during a freezing February morning in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Yes, it was every bit as cold as it looks!
Just as I was finishing up my morning photo session, the clouds parted slightly and the sun rays came through and provided me with an opportunity to capture this image. I had to be quick though. Opportunities like these only last a few seconds. Sure enough, after about 30 seconds the clouds closed up and the moment was gone.
I offer this photo in full color or grayscale (black and white).
This image looks fantastic with a stained wood frame and cream colored mat. The grayscale option (black and white) looks great with a black frame and white mat.
