Copper Sugar Bowl with Double Brass Handles
Once part of a sugar and creamer set this sugar bowl lost its creamer somewhere long the way. But that just leaves it free to become anything it wants! A salt cellar or herb dish. A lovely little vase for pansies and violets, the possibilities are unlimited!
Forged by Copper Craft Guild in Taunton, Mass. This wonderful piece of American craftsmanship represents the high standard of artisan makers. These pieces though made mainly for function always had the fingerprints of skilled hands.
The vessel is 3 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches tall. The double handles add about an 1 1 /2 on either side. The brass handles are secure and in very good condition. The copper has the beginnings of some tarnish but will clean to a near new patina.
