The White Gum tree grows 30-50 feet tall with a wide spreading crown of 15 to 50 feet. It is native to Australia and Papua New Guinea. It does well only in tropical weather. The White Gum is used as an ornamental tree in Australia for fencing and to attract birds. Its creamy white flowers bloom from May to September. Its attractive white bark turns pink during shedding of the old bark. Found on a ridges and elevated areas.
