Hi, my name is Kirsty and I am a complete dye-and-knitaholic!
I love my work and I take great pride in it. I use only high quality base yarns and professional quality dyes. I take inspiration from everything around me, plants, food, works of art, the places I visit on holiday for example.
I love to do custom dyes and custom knit wool wraps for use with cloth nappies.
I am a strong believer in designer's copyright and therefore only knit other designers patterns when I have purchased a licence to do so or had their permission in writing. I am currently a cottage licence holder for Sheepy Time patterns and also have permission to knit a limited number of Knitting Pure and Simple patterns, which I also stock.
I send out UK packages by 1st class post. If you require insured or signed for post as an extra this will be charged at cost.
International postage varies - if it costs me less to pack and post your parcel than you have been charged then I will refund the difference.
Again, if you require a signed for service this can be added at extra cost.
Refunds, returns & exchanges
Items may be returned within 7 days if they are unsuitable or if despite quality checking they are in some way faulty - please let me know immediately if there is a problem with a purchased item. I would advise return by tracked postage.
All yarn weights and measurements are approximate and as stated by my suppliers.
My yarns are hand dyed by dipping and hand painting and therefore there are variations between skeins. If you are knitting a project that requires several skeins it is sometimes advisable to alternate between two skeins as you knit.
Due to my dyeing methods many of my colourways are unrepeatable - this means that you get unique yarn, but please ensure that you will have enough to complete your project as I may not be able to match it exactly if you need extra later.
Monitor colour representations vary greatly and therefore if in doubt about a colour please ask before buying.
